Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 21, 2026

What we collect

Photos and notes you submit to generate a listing (see Retention: we do not store them).

When you buy: your email address, Stripe customer ID, license key, plan, remaining credits and purchase date. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us.

For free-usage limits, security and basic statistics: a random device ID stored in a cookie, a salted one-way hash of your IP address (we do not store the IP address itself), timestamps of free generations, pages visited and the referral source of your visit.

For cost control: the number of AI tokens used and the cost of each generation (no photo or text content).

How we use it

To generate your listing drafts, provide purchases and support, prevent abuse, and comply with law. We do not sell your personal information.

Processors

Photos and notes are sent to our AI model provider, OpenAI (via its API), solely to generate your output. According to OpenAI, API data is not used to train its models by default and may be retained for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring. Payments are processed by Stripe. Hosting is provided by Render (United States), which may keep standard server request logs under its own policies.

Retention

Photos and notes are processed in memory only: they are never written to our disk or database and are discarded when your request finishes. Generated listing text is returned to your browser and not stored by us.

Device IDs, IP hashes, usage and page-visit records are deleted automatically after 13 months.

Purchase records are kept as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. Database backups (which include purchase records) are kept for up to 7 days on our server and in our secure off-site copies for up to 30 days.

Your rights

You may request access to or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@draftlister.com. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA; EU/UK users may have rights under the GDPR.

Cookies

We use only essential, first-party cookies and browser storage (a random device ID for the free quota, the referral source of your visit, and your license key). We count page visits and purchases on our own server for basic statistics; IP addresses are stored only as one-way hashes. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
